Drew Springer, the firm’s founder and owner, serves as portfolio manager and a financial advisor for the firm. Drew graduated from North Texas State University in 1966 and received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance. Prior to opening Springer Financial Services, Drew was an Operational Auditor for Standard Oil of Indiana, a Controller for the Tandy Corporation and Financial Vice President for Payless Drug Stores.

In 1974, with the desire of utilizing his experience, education and expertise, Drew acquired in corporate America and opened Springer Financial Services on the square in Weatherford, Texas. Springer Financial Services developed into a successful venture and has prospered for over four decades. Drew has built a successful business on three simple principles: Trust, Experience and Simplicity. Drew has specialized in money management, and tax and estate planning. He is registered as a Series 1, 3, 24, 63 and 65 broker. 

Drew and his wife Linda have four children and nine grandchildren. Drew has been past-president of the Weatherford Chamber of Commerce, Parker County United Way, Weatherford Industrial Plan, and Weatherford Noon Lion’s Club. He also served on the Weatherford City Council as a City Commissioner and a member of the Water and Electric Board. In 2004, the University of North Texas honored Drew as their Outstanding Alumni in the School of Business’s Accounting Department. Drew serves on the Foundation Board for the University of North Texas and the Camp Fire Foundation Board.

Diana joined Springer Financial in 2001 and has worked in financial services since 1985. Diana holds EA, LUTCF and RFC designations and Series 7, 63, 24, 53, and Life, Accident and Health Licenses.  Diana is passionate about helping clients of Springer Financial achieve their long term financial goals, and in her words, “Sleep when the wind blows.”  Her other passions include corgis, horses, and cowboy poetry.  Diana subscribes to The Code of the West and Ride for the Brand.  Diana's love for horses moved her to Texas where she met her husband, horse and people trainer, Scott Overcash.  Diana is a member of the NCHA, AQHA and Western Music Association.

Mr. Glen-Walker serves as Springer Financial Services expert in financial analysis and reporting.  Matthew maintains a focus on client achievement and success.  His business acumen, education and multi-industry experience brings a host of analytical tools to engineer reports and processes, manage efficient trade execution and analyze financial data.

Intellectually curious, Mr. Glen-Walker taught himself relational databases and computer programming.  He went on to earn a Bachelor of Business Administration from Morehead State University.  Matthew’s corporate career began in the executive offices of an International Airport, before joining Springer Financial in 2006.  Mr. Glen-Walker holds Series 7, 63 and 66 investment licenses.

In his leisure, you can find Matthew in, on or around the water.  When indoors, he enjoys researching antique prints, stamps, historical documents and family history.  Matthew is a member of The Printing Historical Society (London), American Philatelic Society and Toastmasters International.

Matthew strives to serve as a mentor to members of his community.  He serves on the Board of Directors of the Harbor Club of Fort Worth and is a member of the Amon G. Carter, Jr. YMCA in downtown Fort Worth.

Matthew is passionate about helping people make prudent decisions.

Mr. Phillips brings to Springer Financial Services a wealth of skills and experiences related to helping individuals, families and small businesses manage their financial assets and make prudent decisions around the use of credit.

Prior to joining Springer Financial Services, for 15 years Steve managed high net worth client relationships for Wells Fargo Wealth Management, Robert W. Baird & Co. and JPMorgan Chase Private Bank in Fort Worth, and 10 years oil & gas banking to privately-held and independent businesses with ING and Christiania banks in New York City. 

Mr. Phillips holds a B.S. degree in Geology from the University of Mississippi and an M.B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and holds Series 7 and 66 licenses. He and his wife, Beth, have two sons and a daughter. Mr. Phillips currently serves as a Board Member of the Cook Children’s Child Study Center, is on the advisory board of Victory Temple Ministry, and is the Senior Warden of Christ The Redeemer Anglican Church.
